The details you care about most
The location is excellent, milliseconds from La Plaza Mall, and offers great value for money. My King Room was clean, and I appreciated the upgraded shower. Just be cautious. There are two locations. I didn't have time to explore the amenities, but I felt at home here.

As always at the super friendly reception, the cleaning people had the room perfect.. We are on the side of the mall, it has a very good location.. It's one of the best quality/price places.
I've been coming to the hotel for years, sometimes I come straight here and other times I do make reservations. Since I stayed here I have recommended it with family and friends who like me every time we go to MC Allen we stay there. We are already about 12 families. It's the first time that I see it this full. I guess it was because of the tax free madness I discovered when I arrived.. I went down to the breakfast before 9 a. m. There were a lot of people, there was no yogurt, there was no bread and they didn't have jams that they always put.. My husband and I started to serve the rest, waiting for the stuffing. My husband and I began to serve the rest, waiting for them to fill up. kitchen manager was there, she talked to a man who said he thought it was strange that he could offer him something else, man thanked him and said it was okay. Only that he wanted something hot like what they used to serve and she told him that he could put it in the comments very kindly. when another lady told him the same thing, he said that she only put what she was given, not with the same kindness.. My husband wanted bread and said that he would fill it up later when he had it in front of him and could give it to her, besides we were on the breakfast schedule and I know that all the time they make sure to have everything available... I told her about the jam and she answered that those were the ones, I told her that I wanted the ones that were missing and I don't know if it was because of my face or what but it was for more. I understand that he was taking care that there are people who take to the room, because he made the comment repeatedly that a lady took a lot of yogurt, it was not my case. I don't think it's fair to treat it that way when we have years of going there just because we're not a group. I go there once a month for what I do.. Anyway... It's the first time this has happened to me and I hope the last.. just like other people I've seen this end there after a while. I hope he'll go back to offering the sausages they used to put out.

The location is the only thing I did like at this hotel, since it is sutuated very close to several places on our schedule !!
Horrible...I did not like the first approach service by the front desk officer! Thereafter the room was not a room I will suggest anyone to stay there because of different broken things in the room! Especially electrical stuffs! The smell in the loby area and poor choice w/ Continental breakfast!

Surprising comfort in the chaos
The location next to the mall made shopping easy. My room was clean and the staff, especially Rosa at breakfast, was a good surprise.
Unfortunately, the wifi was terrible, hard to get work done. The grounds needed some attention and felt a bit run down.

The location is awesome due to the fact that is next to the mall and very close to the airport. the beds are very comfortable, it's very clean and the staff are very friendly. excellent choice!
The breakfast is not bad but is the typical american breakfast (waffles, marmalade, coffee, tee, butter, cereal) Is not bad at all is just that after 2 or 3 days you get bored of the same stuff, they should have some cheese and maybe ham for people like me who prefer to have something else than sweet stuff in the morning, it is a breakfast full of calories!

would like to go back there again
The room was clean and had a microwave, fridge, and nice toiletries. It's right by the mall, super convenient for shopping. The shower was also upgraded and worked great. The atmosphere was quiet, made for a good night's rest.

Location, the free breakfast was enough for us (coffee, cornflakes, waffles, yogurts and fruits)
The beds smells dusty and the carpet also didn't felt clean. They charged us 20$ for the early check in (although the hotel was empty that day) but at least they didn't charge us for the late check out
